I work in many mediums, primarily: painting (oil/gouche/acrylic), paper arts (book binding/box making/handmade paper sculpture) and photography (portraiture/fashion). I love mixed media pieces, found object/word pieces and collages and am currently pursuing my mfa in interdisciplinary arts & media as a way to help unify my fine art interests with my film & video background.

artist trading cards (ATC’s) – january 2010~
this is a growing collection of artist trading cards – cards that are the size of standard trading cards 2.5″x3.5″ (like baseball cards) that I have been making. They are mini works of art that are meant to be given away or traded with other artists – not sold. ACEO’s (art cards, editions & originals) is almost identical looking to an ATC only it was created so that artists could sell their mini works of art for those they would otherwise be unable to swap or trade with but who would want to have a collection of ATC’s none the less. Here is my collection. Be sure to check back from time to time as I will be adding to the gallery periodically.
altered playing cards (APC’s) – january 2010 ~
this is a growing collection of altered playing cards – playing cards where the backs are left untouched and the artist uses the face of the card as the canvas for their mini work of art. APC’s are similar to artist trading cards in size, the only real difference between the two is that on APC’s you must leave the top left corner exposed showing the color and suit of the card. it is also preferred that the back of the card be left un-manipulated. I am working on two decks for swap-bot swaps over the course of the year, so each week I should be adding at least two new cards of the same suit.
inchies – january 2010 ~
this is a growing collection of “inchies” – mini works of 1″x1″ art – currently being created for swaps-bot swaps, artists trades and for sale. I will continue to add to this collection as I make more, so please check this gallery every now and again for updated material.
the unwritten word – april 2009
small collection of blank handmade books, 3.25″x4.25″ – 1.75″ tall when stacked on top of each other. each book is made of handmade cotton blend papers from thailand. the collection is comprised of six books, each employing a different stitch or binding technique.
