Style tip of the day!

Thursday, January 7th, 2010 2:48 pm

Some of you may know a bit about the work I’m doing for my thesis. It is partially dealing with body image issues and concerns and how those issues play into our lives. Kinda…

Anyway, part of my research has been to do something I already LOVE and have been doing years (woot) which is finding great beauty tips and secrets! If we’re friends, I’ve probably shared such tips with you as I saw fit, becuase I want everyone to benefit from the fun facts I learn!

One of my favorite looks of all time is the smokey eye/nude lip combo. I’m a HUGE fan. HUGE! It’s not a look that one can easily pull off for the day to day routine, but it’s a great evening out look or perfect for dramatic pictures (where I seem to be employing the look most these days).

Today I stumbled upon a tutorial for a really quick and easy smokey eye. While it’s pretty basic, it definitely does the trick! For those of you out there that are more advanced with your make-up application, you will quicly find ways to up the anti on this look so have a look! For those of you out there a little less make-up inclined this is still a GREAT tutorial! Wanted to pass it on for all to enjoy!

Cheers,
Devin
